The Intensive Preschool Classroom: This model is designed for students with significant deficits in both social and cognitive functioning. Students in this program may have diagnoses that fall within the Autism spectrum, communication, developmental delay, or have intensive global delays which impact their overall communication, behavior, and ability to learn in a larger classroom environment. This is a self-contained model where there is a high student-teacher ratio. Individual programs are designed based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Home services/home training is provided for families. Opportunities are available for inclusion into the intensive/integrated preschool as the child masters developmental skills to allow for generalization in a larger group setting.
